May 4 - 10

All Classes are Running as Scheduled this Week.

AMAZING EVENT THIS WEEKEND!

Thank you to the parents and adult students who attended our First Firearms Training Course. The course was taught by Expert Firearms Trainer, Rob Pincus. It truly was an incredible weekend.

The beginner group had to endure some VERY cold temperatures out on the range but they were troopers. It was a great opportunity to learn about the mechanics, safety, and proper handling of handguns.

To be clear, I do not recommend that everyone own a gun. That is their personal choice - and we don’t talk about that. The purpose of the class was to help everyone understand how firearms function. In a worst case scenario, possessing that knowledge, and understanding the function and limits of a firearm, can save someone’s life.

On Sunday, we had a more experienced group on the range. I took the class alongside the Sunday group. We were fortunate to have warmer weather! :) The entire group did so well. We all made some adjustments to our technique, increased our general understanding and left feeling more confident in our knowledge and overall gun handling. (Also - it was a blast)

We will be offering the beginner class again, as well as another class to help the more advanced group continue to grow. We anticipate the next class will be held in the Aug/Sep time frame.

Here are a few photos from the weekend. Faces of non-dojo members have been blurred out. (And, Rob’s daughter, too)

Great Work, everyone!
